Physiotherapy is an accredited and well researched health care profession that involves the treatment and conservative management of chronic and acute conditions and injuries. Physiotherapists can help to reduce pain and discomfort and improve your function so that you may get back to doing the things you love most. Physiotherapists use a variety of treatment modalities, such as manual therapy, dry needling, and exercise prescription, to address your pain and underlying dysfunctions. You will receive a thorough assessment so that an individualized treatment plan can be put in place to help maximize recovery efficiency. Physiotherapists also work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as kinesiologists, so that your recovery can progress to the next phase of rehabilitation.
